Happy New Year.

December 31, 2008

Changes are happening for clients this year - all good things.  First, I am about ready to launch the new ordering software which will store your favorites, keep things in your shopping cart, and make checking out a breeze.

Here is the first sneak peek of it.

I think every session has one image that really speaks to me, that captures many things.  When I opened this one and edited it, instantly black & white was what I knew would make it “the image” for me.  M looks very peaceful here, very relaxed.

Kim Prochazka: This is absolutely gorgeous! I'm such a sucker for deep b/w!

dsr: Have already said how much I LOVE the photos from this session. This one is great! The new blog looks great too!

Jodie Lagana: Simply stunning!

Michelle :): i think this just might be my favorite!

Well, after battling my current ordering system which often was not successful for many, a new independent ordering system will be launching in January.  I am so excited.  You will have your own password protected gallery still but the new system will save your favorites and keep things in your shopping cart, you can enlarge images to view them bigger.  Can’t wait.

Jan: Yay! You took the plunge! :)

Here was baby E some months back. Remember this shot?

Well, here is the family now. We just did the holiday pictures.

There is many things I love about this image.  Well, first they’re family so I love them dearly.  Secondly, I love how they’re all snuggled and touching.  Third, I love how Miss B-ster is hugging on mom with her hand slighltly in her shirt and her foot on dad.

Corine Tran: beautiful girl. I really like the vintage look of this image, great job!

I get emails and comments posted to my blog often asking how Clayton is doing, that people are continuing to pray for him, people thanking me for introducing them to Clayton.  He has touched so many people all around the world.  It still is overwhelming to me.

I asked his mom, Wendy, to write something to all my blog followers, to give a little update.

Thank you, Wendy.

“Dearest friends of Monyeen,
“Thank you for your sweet and loving concern for my son Clayton.  He is doing considerably well under the circumstances and is loving having the freedom and ability to speak to many church youth groups about the love of Jesus.  Many young people have given their hearts to Jesus as a result of his life testimony.  We are enjoying every moment we have together and I go to bed each night so thankful for the fun and laughter we get to have every day.  The peace and joy of the Lord is real and available to everyone who know Him no matter what your circumstances are.  We appreciate you all very very much.”

And I have to post a picture too.

bobby deanobby Dean: Dear Wendy and Clayton, too I gather you also read the blogs. So here is a little humor for you. Did you know that Monyeens family name is 'Mouse'? She has been called Mouse since she was 7 months old. I so love reading about you Clayton, you are inspiring. And Wendy, thanx for the little update. Glad he has touched so many hearts. I live in Sacramento, Ca, so his love message has spread up to here, too. I am praying for you both and the rest of your family Have a Merry Christmas Bobby'Girl' Mouse's Momma

With each new bit f news, I continue to pray for him and for his family... and I am absolutely overwhelmed with joy that his story has brought so many people to know Christ. What an incredible, amazing legacy he is leaving. Enjoy your Christmas, Wendy, and all the McDonald family. :)

Brooke: Wendy, Clayton, and Mo...thank you for sharing your story with so many people. Mo shared the video with me and I shared it with my youth group clear out here in Kansas. Clayton...God has given you a gift, he is being glorified through you. Thank you for letting his light shine through you. May you all be blessed and comforted, in Jesus name. ((HUGS))

I sure have missed photographing seniors. Miss M made my job quite easy this afternoon. We lost light due to some heavy clouds, but it still didn’t stop me.

When I arrived and saw this couch sitting on the porch, I had to use it.
