You’ve seen the boys many times. I adore them. They make me laugh. As I photograph them, their dad always makes them laugh. How you ask? Umm, well, I usually don’t know because he stands behind me doing crazy things. I do know that I had a cow pie being held above my head this evening. I know that Zachary has his dad’s funniness, as he made his cousin laugh hysterically at times and her laugh is infectious!

Anyhow, the boys’ cousins were visiting from out of state and we did a short little session the other evening out at the property.

If you follow my blog at all, you know I absolutely love black and white images. There is just something about them. ♥

If I could steal this truck and take it with me to all my sessions, I would. Isn’t it awesome?

I was excited to photograph the boys in summer, with their tans and asked Mom if they’d be up for no shirts. Thank you, boys, for doing this shot for me.

I love working with adult families. When they all stepped out of their cars, I was super excited. Why? because they all looked perfectly coordinated in colors. They all had complimenting tones and shades that matched. Thank you for being such a wonderful family to work with. We had some fun laughs last night. The Couch family session was done at Summerwood Winery in Paso Robles. They have such beautiful grounds and I am always thankful they allow me to shoot on their property. It was a little breezy last night, but most of the time shooting was smooth.

We really had to work to schedule this session. But we found a day that all our schedules worked. Their son is being deployed and leaving soon to go serve Our Country. Be safe. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Enjoy your sneak peek.

She comes to visit when she is off from year-round school for at least a week. Every time she visits, we do a photo shoot one day. Every time, her mommy melts when she sees her little girl’s photos. Goodness has she grown. We love her so much.

jen: Love them both! The light and her expression in the first - and that smile in the second! She is a beauty!

Sissy: i think she happens to be a great artist too!!! she can paint preple hair like no one i've ever seen! ; D~

shannon: she's beautiful! such wonderful, sweet images.

These are some shots I took a few weeks back. While in Manhattan Beach visiting, one day I visited Descano Gardens. Beautiful place. I image in spring bloom time it’s breathtaking. Here is just some.
