Baily was one of my longest newborn sessions ever, yielding only a small handful of images here . As she grew, she was easier to photograph,as you can see how adorable she is here and here. Her sister Hayden, well, she was a dream newborn and slept most of the time, giving us some beautiful images here. So then came the challenge of trying to photograph them together at this session.

A wonderful client of mine who has become a sweet friend just launched her new blog, Stephanie Rothbauer Interior Design. Today I got the wonderful surprise of seeing her gallery wall of images that I have taken of her family over the past two years. Please go over and check it out. She has displayed all black and white images. Which if you’ve been photographed by me, you know that is the images that speak most to me. B lack and white images are so timeless, letting you just take it all in and not get distracted by the color of a shirt or bright flowers that are in bloom – it’s about seeing that beautiful subject you’re staring at on the wall and taking you back to a moment in time. I just h.a.d. to pull a couple of sneak peeks off the cards as soon as I got home from Alyssa’s session. The images are so beautiful.

I can’t wait to see the rest ! I know she had a great time with you. Weird thing is that after the session she hurt her thumb and ended up in a cast. Then we went to the orthopedist and it was the same location that you took some of her photos. Coincidence……………

I love when I have seniors book their session in the spring. This means they submitted their own yearbook image. Spring sessions gives us the option to find some greenery around here (as in the prior sneak peek post). Another favorite is when the session is just me and the senior. We usually have a blast and laugh – and Bailey was no exception. She had me cracking up, especially at her funny faces she’d make, then we’d laugh and get a great smiling image.
Anyhow, this is some of my favorites from Bailey’s session.
