Wall Display Ideas

February 28, 2010

Clients often ask for help in displaying images, some will have a certain wall they want to display some images on, some know they want a canvas, while others really have no idea what they want to do.  In your proofing gallery (since I do all on-line proofing/ordering) I try to always put in some ideas of what you can do with some of your images.  Some of my most favorite clients let me choose and bring them the final pieces to hang up.  I love that.  This year I will also be introducing framing, for those clients who would prefer to purchase finished pieces.  I often get asked if I offer a CD of images.  I do have digital options for clients, but I much prefer to have the image displayed on your walls, that is what excites me so much, having my art on your walls.  I have clients tell me that if they only purchased digital images, they’d just go in a drawer or on the computer and they’d not ever print them.  So I hope that in offering framing it will ease the process to get those prints on your walls. Watch for details on that in the future.

This is a collage of various things I put in galleries for clients.

Holiday Card Designs

October 14, 2009

Gosh, I cannot believe how quickly the holiday rush has arrived.   And the thunderstorm we’re having today and tomorrow reminds me how weather can put a damper on outdoor sessions.  boo!  I was so lucky at my session on Sunday evening, it was getting a little cool and breezy, but it was still not freezing . . . yet.

Just thought I’d share a sneak peek of some of the new holiday card offerings this year.

I could not wait to get home and check out this custom-designed coffee table book.  It is a combination of Kevin & Angela’s engagement and wedding photos I shot. I am posting all the layouts so her family from afar can see too.  ;)

I love this vendor.  Super quick turnaround. Beautiful book.  I know Angela cannot wait for me to deliver it to her this week.

Wedding announcements

May 23, 2009

The wedding is a week away for Chelsey & Cooper. I have been wanting to share their wedding announcement that I made for them. It is something very different from the traditional invitations that usually are sent out. We went with a 5×5x5 trifold.

This is the front flap.
